Kindergarten NZ Limited (KiNZ) was established in 2002 and is a subsidiary of the Auckland Kindergarten Association.
KiNZ provides quality early childhood education at its four early learning centres and Advisory Services in the early childhood sector.
The Auckland Kindergarten Association is a charitable trust that has been providing quality early childhood education since 1908 and is New Zealand's largest Kindergarten Association.
Early Learning Centres
Our early learning centres have been designed to provide a safe and dynamic learning environment for children from 3 months to 6 years of age.*
KiNZ Early Learning Centres operate on the kindergarten philosophy.
The learning and development of children is supported and extended by our teaching staff who are qualified in early childhood education and hold a current practising certificate (Teacher Registration). We also employ staff in training.
All staff are provided with ongoing and inspiring professional development opportunities so they remain up to date with current theory and most importantly support positive learning outcomes for children. An annual appraisal system also support staff opportunities for growth.
We believe in the importance of creating an attractive and child-orientated environment that honours and respects diversity and where the staff act as positive role models in achieving this.
At KiNZ, we acknowledge the dual cultural heritage of Aotearoa, and uphold the spirit and intent of the Treaty of Waitangi. We encourage children to learn about the cultural diversity of their local community and the wider world. We strongly value a partnership approach between families/whanau, teachers, and management.
