Student Teacher Practicums

KiNZ Early Learning Centres provide practicum opportunities for students who are currently completing Early Childhood qualfications, for example, a Diploma of Teaching (ECE) or Bachelor of Education (Teaching).  To be placed in one of our centres, students must be studying at a New Zealand educational institution that is approved by the New Zealand Teachers Council.  All student teacher practicums are arranged between KiNZ and the various Teacher Education Providers.

Work Experience Placements

KiNZ Early Learning Centres also provides work experience opportunities for students studying towards Early Childhood qualifications who are required to do a set number of hours per week to meet course requirements.  Again, students must be studying at an institution that is approved by the New Zealand Teachers Council.  All work experience at our centres is carried out on a voluntary basis.
