Appraisal Training
Option 1 - Team Appraisals
- ‘Pre visit’ information gathering (2 hours)
- Appraisal workshop for all staff (3 hours)
- Appraisal training review to ensure a robust system is in place (2 hours)
Option 2 - Senior Management Appraisal (mentoring)
- Pre visit for information gathering (day 1) Includes Appraisal role/expectations and requirements outlined in job description/Strategic Plan/Manager achievements
- Gather data from the team and Board, observe Centre Manager (day 2)
- Email Centre Manager Appraisal document
- Observations on appraisee (2 hours)
- Read all returned evidence and Appraisal documentation (4 hours)
- Summary of discussion and agreement on action plans (4 hours)
- Six month follow up meeting (2 hours)

Advice and Guidance for Provisionally Registered Teachers Workshop
This workshop includes:
- A teacher registration folder which covers the entire satisfactory teacher dimensions. Registrants have a self-driven focus to progress through this folder and its contents
- Advice and guidance on maintaining a reflective registration journal
- Four consultation visits per year per registrant. Each visit will cover:
- observation of registrants’ teaching practice - structured meetings with registrants to discuss progress - goal setting towards fulfillment of the criteria for registration
- Post visit progress reporting to registrants, owners/licensees and supervisors to ensure accountability and communication between all parties
- Phone call and email support throughout the process
KiNZ Tutor Teachers hold full registration status and have extensive experience and background in early childhood education.
Our approach is to work in partnership with you. The process is registrant driven, however, KiNZ will set you on the road to success with this professional programme of support, guidance and encouragement.
Parent Workshops
We offer a range of parent workshops (or can custom make one to your centre’s needs). Prices vary depending on numbers, timeframes etc.
